Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements to start the process?

  • English Proficiency: TOEFL total 83 points / verbal 26 points, or IELTS total 6.5 points / verbal 7.0 points (B2 level)
  • Nursing License: Active nursing license in your country of origin
  • Clinical Experience: At least 1-2 years of clinical experience prior to the job interview
  • Commitment to Preparation: Willingness and dedication to prepare for the TOEFL/IELTS and NCLEX-RN exams
Is English required to start the process?

You can obtain a nursing license in the United States without having passed one of the approved English exams. However, it is NOT possible to complete the immigration process without having passed an exam.

Is Nash Advisory responsible for finding me a sponsor in the United States?

No.
From the onset, we work in conjunction with The Nash Group. They facilitate interview preparation and present qualified candidates to U.S. healthcare institutions desiring to sponsor foreign nurses.

Once a nurse has completed the homologation process, what kind of employment opportunities are available to them?

Nurses who complete the homologation process are directly hired by sponsoring hospitals. This provides them with the same benefits, rights, educational opportunities, and bonuses as other hospital employees.
